POSITION: PT CDL Instructor

LOCATION: Williston, ND

TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: This is a part-time, non-benefited position.

JOB SUMMARY: TrainND Northwest's PT CDL Safety Trainer is responsible for the delivery of various safety training programs. This position is primarily assigned to technical and driver training programs that meet the needs for oil and gas, construction, and related service industries as well as commercial driving industries.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver training programs that specifically address the needs of CDL licensure preparation, such as:

• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) training program

• CDL Evaluations/Assessments

• CDL permit training program

• CDL truck rental for DOT testing

• General safety orientation training programs

• Stay current with new/best practices and ensure that training programs meet/exceed industry standards

• Promote training programs as a representative of TrainND Northwest

• Act as a subject matter expert in collaboration with other staff members to build relationships with customers

• Respond to customer needs, demonstrating professionalism and timeliness

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Class A CDL with all endorsements necessary to operate a CMV for which training is to be provided; no Airbrake restrictions

• Meet all applicable North Dakota state qualification requirements for CMV instructors

• Meet one of these:

• Minimum of two years' experience operating a CMV requiring a Class A CDL; or

• Minimum of two years' experience as a BTW CMV instructor

• Clean driving record

SALARY: $50 per hour
