CDL CLASS A DRIVER
Pay: $30.00 per hour
Location: University Park, IL
Job Type: Temp-to-Perm
We are looking for an experienced and dependable CDL Class A Driver to join our team. The Driver will operate regional routes transporting steel tubing and other materials using Conestoga and flatbed equipment while ensuring all loads are properly secured and delivered safely.

We are looking for an experienced and dependable CDL Class A Driver to join our team. The Driver will operate regional routes transporting steel tubing and other materials using Conestoga and flatbed equipment while ensuring all loads are properly secured and delivered safely.
Responsibilities:
- Safelyoperate CDL Class A equipment on regional routes.
- Transportsteel tubing and other materials to customers.
- OperateConestoga and flatbed trailers.
- Assistwith loading and unloading procedures as required.
- Ensureall loads are properly secured and strapped according to load securementrequirements.
- Completerequired trip sheets and delivery documentation.
- Obtainsigned bills of lading upon delivery.
- Userequired driver communication and routing applications.
- Followall DOT regulations, safety procedures and company policies.
- Communicatewith customers and dispatch regarding deliveries.
- Maintaina clean and professional vehicle and appearance.
- Performother duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- ValidCDL Class A license.
- Flatbedand/or Conestoga experience required.
- Experiencehandling steel or similar materials preferred.
- Knowledgeof proper load securement procedures.
- Abilityto safely secure and transport heavy materials.
- Abilityto complete trip sheets and required delivery documentation.
- Cleandriving record.
- Dependableand punctual with strong attendance.
- Abilityto work Monday through Friday.
- Mustbe comfortable with regional routes and extended shifts.
- Previousflatbed, Conestoga or steel-hauling experience preferred.
Compensation: $30.00 per hour
