As an Orgill Driver, you are the face of our company to local hardware store owners and managers. You will handle dedicated local deliveries, ensure safe transport, and build solid customer relationships along your route.
- Route: Local Southern California deliveries (Home Daily / 60/7 HOS).
- Freight: Touch freight-unloading hardware supplies using a manual pallet jack, dolly, or by hand.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork, and load security.
- Maintain accurate daily electronic driving logs (ELD).
- Drive routes safely and efficiently in compliance with all state laws and DOT regulations.
- Communicate promptly with dispatch/supervisors regarding any route changes, delays, or issues.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service at every delivery location.
- Valid Class A CDL with an excellent MVR and driving record.
- Endorsements: Must have (or be able to obtain) Hazmat and Doubles/Triples endorsements.
- Physical Capability: Ability to walk, bend, reach, stoop, squat, push, pull, and maneuver items over 75 lbs using proper material handling equipment (pallet jacks, dollies, hand trucks).
- Chain Up: Must be willing and able to install chains when winter weather conditions require.
