Full Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

Start time 4AM
Transports trailer, full or empty, to or from, receiving or shipping, as directed by the supervisor.
Completes trailer movement log to submit to supervisors.
Completes daily yard reports and inventory on tablet.
Complete pre trip on all trailers used on shipping dock.
Meets and maintains safety standards.
Occasional local deliveries as needed.
Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work area.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Basic math and reading skills.
communication skills.
Basic organizational skills.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

Valid state Commerciall Drivers License (Class A CDL) required.
Preferably a minimum of one year verified exp0erience operating a tractor trailer.
Must be 21 years of age

WORKING CONDITONS:

Lifting of up to 75 pounds.
Continuous walking, standing, and sitting; walking long distances.
Exposure to hot and cold conditions.
exposure to dust and noise.
Bending, stooping, squatting, and kneeling on a repetitious basis.
