What You'll Do
As a Dump Truck Driver, you'll safely transport landscape and hardscape materials to customers throughout Southern Nevada while representing Outdoor Living Supply professionally.
Responsibilities include:
- Safely operate a CDL dump truck throughout the Las Vegas area
- Deliver aggregate, rock, sand, soil, mulch, pavers, and landscape materials
- Complete deliveries accurately and on schedule
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain DOT compliance and safe driving practices
- Secure loads and ensure safe transportation
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment when needed
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and electronic logs
- Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules and delivery updates
- Assist customers with safe product delivery
- Keep equipment clean and report maintenance needs promptly
- Follow all company safety procedures and DOT regulations
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements
- Safe driving history
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
- Dependable with strong attendance
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Forklift experience is a plus (training available if needed)
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift up to 45 pounds
- Occasionally lift up to 60 pounds
- Climb into and out of truck cab safely
- Perform vehicle inspections
- Work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions
