What You Will Do:

Perform all required safety checks including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations; inspected tractor/truck and trailer to ensure they meet company safety standards and take appropriate action as needed.
Report all safety issues and/or repairs as needed.
Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies. Immediately report any and all safety hazards.
Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight.
Drive and deliver trailers according to predetermined route schedule.
Perform hook/unhook procedures per safety guidelines. Park and store tractor trailers in designated areas. Ensure all equipment and freight are appropriately locked and/or secured all times.
Complete daily record of hours of services and enter in login in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area and keep trailers clear and clean and required.
Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Assist with fueling trucks and trailers as needed, especially when the primary fueler is unavailable or unable to service all vehicles. Ensure proper fueling procedures are followed and that all equipment is safely and adequately fueled to support operational needs.
Need to be able to load and unload trucks on forklift and ride on pallet jack.
Assist the night warehouse crew with moving trucks when present.
Required to work even if weather is bad.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED.
Clean CDL Class A licenses.
Double endorsement, preferred
Minimum of 1-2 years of prior commercial delivery experience.*Food service and refer experience preferred.*
Must have the ability to lift product weighing up to 100 lbs on a consistent basis.
Required to climb in and out of a commercial vehicle and operate in a safe manner.
Must be able to walk, bend, lift on a regular basis.

Salary:

$25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Must have the ability to lift product weighing up to 100 lbs on a consistent basis.
Required to climb in and out of a commercial vehicle and operate in a safe manner.
Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, sit, operate warehouse
Must be able to use hands to handle and feel objects, perform fine finger movements, reach with hands and arms, and have the ability to see, talk, and hear.
Possess normal vision with or without correction and able to distinguish colors
Possess fluent speech in English, writing and communication skills necessary to effectively carry out job functions
