Full Description
Technician/CDL A Driver
This position will be a hybrid of an automotive technician and cdl a driver.
Essential job functions
Safely and efficiently transport vehicles to various destinations.
Be able to complete the following:
• Vehicle functionality checks
• Vehicle repairs
• Replacing vehicle parts
• Vehicle detailing and show prep
• Hoist checks
• Evaluate suspension and driveline components
• Battery replacement and charging
Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and report any safety or mechanical concerns.
Maintain courteous and professional interactions with clients, ensuring on-time deliveries.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Maintain accurate driving logs, inspection reports, and trip documentation.
Immediately report incidents or delays to management.
Skills/requirements:
• Valid CDL Class A License with clean driving record.
• 2+ years of professional driving experience preferred.
• Mechanical technician experience (3+ years preferred).
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
