CONTEXT: Our client, a provider of specialized equipment rental and site services, is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Haul Truck Driver. This role is essential for ensuring that heavy machinery is delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule to support active job sites.

CONTEXT: Our client, a provider of specialized equipment rental and site services, is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Haul Truck Driver. This role is essential for ensuring that heavy machinery is delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule to support active job sites.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport heavy equipment, including forklifts, telehandlers, manlifts, and other machinery to and from various job sites.
- Properly load, secure, and stabilize all equipment on the trailer in accordance with safety standards and load securement regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle and trailer are in safe operating condition.
- Maintain strict adherence to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, company safety policies, and local traffic laws.
- Manage daily delivery schedules, ensuring all equipment is transported in a timely manner.
- Document all deliveries, equipment movements, and inspections accurately in accordance with company tracking procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in hauling heavy equipment and operating commercial trucks.
- Demonstrated ability to safely load, unload, and secure heavy machinery, including forklifts, telehandlers, and manlifts.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, load securement procedures, and heavy equipment transportation safety protocols.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to navigate routes efficiently.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and professional communication with job site personnel.
