Primary Transportation Services is looking for an experienced over-the-road regional driver to move finished goods and raw materials between manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and retail locations. This is a regional OTR position with regular home time built into your schedule, not promised someday down the road.

What the Role Involves

• Transporting freight over regional OTR routes in a Class A commercial vehicle
• Planning routes to hit delivery windows and run efficiently
• Loading and unloading at manufacturing, retail, and distribution sites
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and routine preventive maintenance checks
• Logging hours, mileage, fuel receipts, and toll documentation accurately
• Using GPS, AVL units, and onboard electronic systems as part of daily workflow
• Reporting any defects, incidents, or compliance issues without delay
• Staying current with DOT regulations, size and weight rules, and company policy

• Valid Class A CDL with current DOT medical certification
• Proven OTR or regional driving experience
• Strong knowledge of DOT compliance and trucking regulations
• Comfortable operating electronic equipment and onboard systems
• Able to drive extended hours and adapt to weather, traffic, and schedule changes
• Professional, safety-first approach to every load and every mile
