Description

MISSION

To safely and accurately stack, store & deliver tires. Processing incoming orders from vendors and outgoing orders for customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Driver for OTR Tires & Truck Tires- Day routes (Class A CDL required)
• Receive, unpack, check, and store tires
• Fill requisitions and orders, preparing inventory for delivery
• Assist with loading/unloading of orders
• Safely operate forklifts, squeeze lifts, and order pickers
• Maintain a clean warehouse
• Protect company assets
• Organizational Skills are desired (but not required)
• Embrace Purcell's culture of safety and perform all jobs in a safe manner
• Regular attendance in accordance with assigned schedule
• Ability to perform physical requirements as listed in job description
• Other essential and non-essential duties, as assigned by management

• Identifying Objects, Actions, & Events - Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
• Operating Vehicles, Mechanized Devices, or Equipment - Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment such as forklifts, squeeze lifts, and order pickers.
• Customer Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Handling and Moving Objects - Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.

• English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
• Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
• Writing & Speaking - Communicating effectively in writing and interpersonal speaking as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
• Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
