We are seeking a motivated individual with a clean driving record to be a Full-Time CDL Truck Driver for our Rialto, CA terminal. This colleague will drive from location to location delivering and picking up hazmat tank trailers for customers.
**Company manual transmission tractor supplied** Mechanical skills a plus!
Pay Range: $25.00 to $32.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays and overnight trips to AZ, UT, and NV (scheduled in advance)
Job Requirements:
- Must have a CDL A license with Tanker (N), Hazmat (H), and Doubles/Triples (T) endorsements
- Manual Transmission endorsement required
- Clean driving record
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- 2+ years of over-the-road (OTR) or specialized freight experience preferred
- Mechanical background to assist with minor repairs or diagnostics during equipment transport preferred
- Able to pass all pre-employment screens
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Demonstrate a positive, driven attitude
- Problem-solving mindset with a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Dependable, punctual, and well-organized
- Ability to efficiently perform routine tasks and work well with others
- Willingness to work with lowboys and assist in loading/unloading equipment
Job Responsibilities:
- Driving from location to location delivering and picking up tank trailers for customers, primarily local routes - home nightly
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment
- Ensure accurate documentation and communication for all deliveries and pickups
- Assist in loading/unloading and minor mechanical tasks as needed
- Support warehouse/shop duties and parts deliveries during downtime
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
Physical Demands:
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and, with assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
