Equal Opportunity Employer MinorityFemaleDisabilityVeteran Red River Waste Solutions is a people company that solves waste problems RRWS needs to add key members to our team We are a diversified service contract organization throughout the US that works with all levels of the government The Heavy Equipment Operator; operates the bulldozer backhoe trash compactor and heavy trucks as needed Hauling digging and pushing dirt and waste Grade covered areas and maintain roads and access to the landfill areas Clean concrete ditches and silt fences Pick up litter and debris from landfill sites as needed RESPONSIBILITIES Operates heavy equipment in compliance with the company operating safety policies and proceduresConducts routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment; maintains accurate recordsMoves and positions raw materials and finished components with the use of material moving equipmentFollow appropriate standard operating procedures as guideline for operating and maintaining a vehiclePerforms other duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 2 years Heavy Equipment Operator experience is a plusMust have at least a valid Class B CDL Must have a valid DOT medical card or obtain before hireMust be at least 21 years of ageMust be legally eligible to work in the United StatesMust complete pre employment screeningMust have a three 3 year clean driving recordMust be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate understand and respond to questions directions traffic signs signals and safety trainingRed River Waste Solutions provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race color religion age sex national origin disability status genetics protected veteran status sexual orientation gender identity or expression or any other characteristic protected by federal state or local laws This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment including recruiting hiring placement promotion termination layoff recall transfer leaves of absence compensation and training
