Come join our Reyes Fleet team at our Reyes Coca Cola Bottling facility in Highland Park, MI soon to relocate to new site New Hudson, MI. Seeking a Fleet Diesel Mechanic / Technician A for our growing fleet shop who distribute these iconic brands. Position will relocate to new shop in New Hudson late Summer.

Shift: Full-Time l Monday-Friday-2nd Shift l 3:00PM-11:30PMPay: $34.00/HR to start

Position Responsibilities:

• The Fleet Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of fleet diesel equipment, as well as the diagnostics and rebuilding of clutches and brake systems
• As a Fleet Technician, you will complete thorough documentation for work orders related to repairs and preventative maintenance using the online AssetWorks system
• You will operate a company vehicle to diagnose and repair equipment as part of roadside service calls
• You will ensure that equipment has the required licensing and registration before being deemed "roadworthy"
• You will install, replace, and repair onboard computers (XRS or XataNet) and/or cameras (DriveCam)
• You will work in accordance with company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations to ensure safety
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 3 plus years of related experience
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds
• Must have a valid Driver's License to operate applicable company vehicles
• Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Technical School Certification
