We are looking for a skilled mechanic to troubleshoot, repair and maintain a fleet of forklifts and log stackers. You will be responsible for ensuring functionality and reliability of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems in rolling stock.

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must pass company alcohol and drug screening test
• Ability to safely troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems in a timely manner
• 2 years in automotive or heavy equipment repair industry
• Maintains and repairs all aspects of jitneys used in mill
• Able to lift/carry/push up to 50 pounds
• Must have good communication skills
• Examine parts for damage or excessive wear
• Weld broken parts and structural members
• Attend all safety and crew meetings

Preferred:

• Post-secondary or trade related education
• LP license
• Class A CDL
