Full Description

Pay: $1,350 to $1,650 per week
Freight: Regional no-touch dry van freight, approximately 50% drop and hook
Home Time: Home every weekend with a 48-hour reset
Location: Kansas City, MO 64101

Dry van freight across dependable regional routes
No-touch loads with less freight handling
Assigned Cascadia equipment for the workweek
Predictable weekend reset at home

Dry van freight continuity and dependable regional routing give CDL-A drivers a straightforward workweek built around established customer demand. Drivers stay within a regional operating area, handle no-touch freight, and return home every weekend for a full 48-hour reset.

Runs average around 250 miles, creating a practical balance between productive driving time and regional lane familiarity. Repeated exposure to the same general operating network helps drivers become familiar with customer locations, traffic patterns, and trip expectations.

Driver Equipment

Each driver receives an assigned 2021-2024 Freightliner Cascadia with no slip seating. The same truck remains with the driver, supporting a more organized sleeper setup and consistent equipment familiarity.

Double bunks and refrigerator
SiriusXM radio and 24-inch HD television
Battery-powered APU for sleeper climate control
1,500-watt inverter for personal electronics

Weekly Pay & Weekend Schedule

Weekly pay is $1,350 to $1,650, deposited every Friday through direct deposit. Additional pay is provided for detention, layovers, breakdowns, and transition time during the first weeks of employment.

The regular schedule operates Monday through Friday. Drivers return home every weekend for a complete 48-hour reset, providing dependable personal time before beginning the following week.

Regional Lanes

All freight is no-touch dry van freight. Approximately half of the loads are drop and hook, which can reduce delays and allow drivers to exchange trailers without waiting through the full loading or unloading process.

The remaining freight includes live-load appointments arranged within the regional schedule. Dependable routing and established customers provide a more familiar operating pattern while dispatch supplies the trip information needed to keep each load moving.
