Full Description

Pay: $1,350 to $1,650 per week
Freight: Regional no-touch freight, approximately 50% drop and hook
Home Time: Home every weekend with a 48-hour reset
Location: Indianapolis, IN 46201

Consistent regional freight demand throughout the week
Balanced mix of drop-and-hook and live-load freight
Full weekend reset at home every week
Freightliner Cascadia assigned to each driver

Regional freight demand and consistent scheduling provide CDL-A drivers with a steady Monday through Friday workload. The position combines established customer freight, manageable regional trip lengths, and weekend home time that includes two complete days away from the road.

Most runs average approximately 250 miles. This provides enough distance to build productive weekly miles while keeping drivers within a regional operating pattern and supporting a regular return home each weekend.

Inside Your Truck

Drivers are assigned late-model 2021-2024 Freightliner Cascadia tractors with no slip seating. Having an assigned truck creates a more familiar driving environment and eliminates the need to repeatedly transfer personal belongings between units.

Each tractor is equipped with double bunks, SiriusXM radio, a 24-inch HD television, refrigerator, battery-powered APU, and a 1,500-watt inverter. The sleeper setup provides practical comfort, temperature control, food storage, and dependable power during the week.

Pay & Schedule

Weekly pay is $1,350 to $1,650 and is paid every Friday through direct deposit. Additional compensation applies to qualifying detention, layovers, breakdowns, and transition time during the first few weeks.

Drivers work a regional Monday through Friday schedule before returning home for a full 48-hour reset. Saturday and Sunday are scheduled as home time, giving drivers a dependable break before the next workweek begins.

Freight Details

All loads are no-touch, so drivers are not responsible for loading or unloading customer freight. Approximately 50% of the freight is drop and hook, helping shorten some stops and reduce time waiting at docks.

Live loads are included in the remaining freight mix. Dispatch works to organize appointments and regional trips into a workable schedule while providing drivers with the information needed to plan fuel, breaks, and delivery timing.
