Job Requirements

Qualifications

Minimum 12 months of tractor-trailer driving experience within the past five years.
21 years of age or older.
Valid Class A CDL
Current DOT Medical Card with at least one year certification obtained at the time of issue.
Successful completion of a road test.
Meets company driving record requirements.
Acceptable responses from previous employment verifications.
Successful completion of all required background checks and pre-employment screenings.
Safe driving record and consistent commitment to high safety standards.

Responsibilities

Operate a commercial motor vehicle, including tractor and trailer, safely and professionally.
Follow all safety and operating policies, procedures, and requirements at all times.
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Contribute to a positive, respectful, and professional work environment.
Support company success by completing customer deliveries accurately and on time.
Complete scheduled deliveries and communicate with customers in a professional manner.
Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourage other associates to do the same.
Work cooperatively with supervisors and associates to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
Provide outstanding customer service by maintaining attention to detail and completing work in a timely manner.
Perform and document pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete all required paperwork accurately.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Demonstrate working knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
Deliver excellent customer service in all interactions.
Maintain all DOT-required licenses and documentation.
Lift and carry up to 25 lbs. and push or pull up to 50 lbs. for touch freight positions.
Follow all DOT rules and regulations.
Maintain a constant state of alertness and operate safely at all times.
Safely enter and exit the cab independently.
Complete pickups and deliveries on time.
Follow safety and quality standards on and off the road.
Interact with customers and the public in a positive, professional manner while delivering products.
Contribute as a positive team member with a commitment to fulfilling customer expectations and doing Whatever It Takes.
