Local Horse Van Driver - Ocala, FL
We are seeking a driver for Local and OTR driving experience to join our team in Ocala, FL. The ideal candidate should have previous thoroughbred handling and hauling experience, have a safe driving record, Class A CDL (preferred, but not required), be available to run OTR as needed, be flexible with their schedule, and live in Ocala or the surrounding area.
Responsibilities:
- Transport Thoroughbreds to and from various locations in FL in a safe and timely manner
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies
- Run OTR as a team during peak seasons
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (Class A CDL preferred, not required)
- Thoroughbred handling and hauling experience
- Be able to pass a DOT physical
- Available to run OTR as needed
- Flexible with schedule
- Live in Ocala or the surrounding area
