CDL-A Local Grocery Driver - Good Pay + $10K Bonus | Home Daily
Earn $100,000-$110,000 per year delivering fresh and frozen groceries throughout the Northeast. This dedicated local position offers daily home time, a $10,000 bonus, newer equipment, and consistent early-morning routes with frequent New York City deliveries.

- Average Annual Pay: $100,000-$110,000
- Average Weekly Pay: Approximately $1,923-$2,115
- Bonus: $10,000
- Miles/Week: Approximately 1,500
- Deliver fresh and frozen groceries using 46-, 48-, 51-, and 53-foot reefer trailers.
- Delivery areas include New York City boroughs, Long Island, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Vermont, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine, Pennsylvania, and parts of upstate New York.
- Approximately 80-90% of deliveries are in the New York City boroughs and Long Island.
- Drivers should expect to deliver in NYC boroughs daily.
- Average of approximately 15-20 stops per week.
- Complete one long load per day, with an occasional shorter load when hours permit.
- Pick up returns and backhauls when required.
- Use electric pallet jacks to assist with store unloading.
- Support other local accounts as needed.
- Strong customer service skills are expected.
- Split days off: Sunday and one weekday
- Start times approximately 1:30 AM-4:00 AM
- Approximately 12-14-hour shifts
- Drivers start and end their day at the East Granby yard.
- Drivers may begin in West Haven between midnight and 1:30 AM before traveling to the North Hatfield facility for a 2:00-4:00 AM pickup.
- Six-day workweeks are mandatory during holiday peak periods.
- Drivers are off during the day of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day but work the holiday night.
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- DOT Medical Card
- Clean driving record
- No SAP drivers
- Ability to work early-morning shifts and extended workdays
- Willingness to unload freight using an electric pallet jack
- Reliable personal transportation to and from work
- Strong customer service skills
- Automatic day cab trucks
- Reefer trailers
- Trucks cannot be taken home
- Drivers report to the East Granby yard
- West Granby yard: 38 Russell Road, Granby, CT
- Uniforms provided
- Newer trucks averaging approximately 3 years old or newer
- New electric pallet jacks provided
