CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver - Good Pay + $10K Bonus | Home Daily
Earn approximately $83,000 per year hauling general commodities and containerized freight throughout the Toledo area and surrounding markets. This local intermodal position offers daily home time, paid holiday benefits, and a $10,000 bonus.

Pay Details
- Average Annual Pay: $83,000
- Average Weekly Pay: Approximately $1,650
- Bonus: $10,000
- Hazmat load pay: Additional $25 per hazmat load
- Border crossing pay: $75 per round-trip crossing
- Six paid company holidays after 90 days
- Haul 53-foot containers between rail yards and customers within a 250-mile radius.
- Primary operations include Toledo and North Baltimore, Ohio.
- Freight may also run through Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Michigan, and occasionally Canada.
- Haul general commodities, including food-grade products; approximately 40-50% may be pork or pork-related freight.
- No-touch freight
- 24/7 operation with multiple customer and rail-yard schedules.
- Limited alcohol freight may be included.
- Drivers may need to cover Canada freight using a passport or FAST pass.
- Tuesday-Saturday schedule
- Start times between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM
- Fleet average: approximately 10-hour shifts
- Shifts may extend to 12 hours
- Multiple shifts are available and may change as positions fill.
- Drivers must remain flexible and open to available schedules at hiring.
- Home daily
- Holiday work may be available when rail yards are open.
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- DOT Medical Card
- Clean driving record
- No SAP drivers
- Hazmat endorsement required within 180 days of hire
- Tanker endorsement required within 180 days of hire
- Endorsement costs reimbursed with receipts
- Passport or FAST pass required for interested drivers covering Canada freight
- Ability to work a 24/7 operation and changing shift assignments
- Passengers and pets are not permitted
- Automatic trucks available
- 53-foot container equipment
- Slip-seat operation required
- Trucks cannot be taken home
- Online orientation
- PTO includes six paid company holidays after 90 days
- Office location: Toledo, Ohio
- Primary ramp operations in Toledo and North Baltimore, Ohio
