CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver - Good Pay + $10K Bonus | Home Daily
Earn $84,000-$95,000 annually hauling containers locally with daily home time. This dedicated intermodal position offers a $10,000 bonus, weekday scheduling, and day-cab equipment.

Pay Details
- Average Annual Pay: $84,000-$95,000
- Average Weekly Pay: Approximately $1,650-$1,850
- Hiring Bonus: $10,000
- Seniority-based yearly average: $81,000-$82,000
- Approximately 1,250 miles per week
- Detention: $20/hour after 1 hour at the rail
- Hazmat: $40 per load
- Haul containers between the Ayer rail ramp and customers within a 250-mile radius.
- Freight originates or terminates in the Worcester/Ayer area.
- No New York City routes.
- 24/7 operation with shared equipment.
- Truck remains at the Lancaster yard during time off.
- Some rail-yard experience preferred.
- Uniforms required.
- No riders permitted.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Start times: 2:00 PM-5:00 PM
- Shift length: 10-12 hours
- Drivers may occasionally be asked to work another shift as needed.
- The shift agreed upon during the welcome call will be the driver's assigned shift.
- Thanksgiving: Could work
- Christmas: Off
- New Year's: Could work
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of truck driving experience
- Ability to work the assigned Monday-Friday shift
- Willingness to work an alternate shift when needed
- Uniforms required
- Some rail-yard experience preferred
- No SAP drivers
- Local day-cab equipment
- Intermodal container freight
- Truck remains at the account yard; no take-home equipment
- PTO: 12 days initially, plus 6 paid holidays
- 22 paid days off after 1-5 years
- 27 days after 6-13 years
- 30 days after 14-18 years
- 32 days after 19+ years
