CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver - Good Pay + $10K Bonus | Home Daily
Earn an average of $75,000 per year hauling no-touch intermodal freight throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area and Edgerton, Kansas. This local position offers daily home time, flexible schedule options, and a $10,000 bonus.

Earn an average of $75,000 per year hauling no-touch intermodal freight throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area and Edgerton, Kansas. This local position offers daily home time, flexible schedule options, and a $10,000 bonus.
Pay Details
- Average Weekly Pay: Approximately $1,500
- Hiring Bonus: $10,000
- Holiday pay begins after 90 days.
- Six paid holidays are available after one consecutive year of full-time employment.
- Holiday pay is based on 8 hours at the driver's normal PTO rate.
- Pick up and deliver intermodal freight to and from rail partners in the Kansas City metro and Edgerton, KS areas.
- Start and end each shift at either the Edgerton rail yard or the Kansas City terminal.
- Leave the truck at the closest assigned location at the end of each workday.
- All freight is no-touch.
- Trucks are automatic.
- Hazmat endorsement must be obtained within 90 days of hire; reimbursement is provided with a receipt.
- Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday
- Various start times available after 3:00 PM
- Start time depends on the assigned yard
- All drivers work 12-hour shifts
- Schedule availability may change, so drivers must be open to available options at the time of hire
- Home daily
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- DOT Medical Card
- No SAP Drivers
- Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days of hire
- Ability to work any available schedule
- Ability to operate safely and legally at all times
- No passengers or pets
- Automatic intermodal equipment
- No-touch freight
- Truck remains at the assigned ramp or terminal during time off
- Six paid holidays after one year of full-time employment
- Holiday availability may be required depending on dispatch needs
