CDL-A Local Grocery Driver - $90K-$100K | Windsor Locks, CT
Earn $90,000-$100,000 per year on a dedicated local grocery account with home daily. Drivers operate within a 250-mile radius of Windsor Locks and should be prepared for frequent NYC borough and Long Island deliveries.

- Windsor Locks, CT
- Routes within a 250-mile radius
- Heavy delivery volume into NYC boroughs and Long Island
- Additional routes throughout NJ, MA, VT, RI, NH, ME, PA and parts of upstate NY
- $90,000-$100,000 average annual gross
- Approximately $1,750-$1,950 average weekly
- $0.50-$0.52 CPM
- $85/day - must work all 5 days to receive the weekly daily rate
- $17.25 per shipper/receiver load or unload stop
- $30 per driver-unload or liftgate stop
- $47.50 per NYC borough stop
- $15/hour safety training
- $160-$450 for off-account work
- Approximately 1,350 miles/week
- Dedicated local grocery account
- Home daily
- Deliver dry groceries on 45-53' trailers
- Multi-stop loads, usually 2-3 stops per trailer
- Normally one long load per day, with an occasional second shorter load
- NYC boroughs and Long Island account for approximately 80-90% of deliveries
- Drivers should expect to deliver in NYC boroughs regularly
- Return product and backhaul pickups
- Liftgate-equipped trailers for NYC deliveries
- Electric pallet jack unloading when required
- Support other local accounts as needed
- Automatic daycabs
- Slip-seat operation; same truck is not guaranteed
- Uniforms provided
- Home daily
- Consistent local schedule
- Holidays worked when they fall on the driver's scheduled workday, unless the account is closed
- Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's schedules are not guaranteed
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable truck driving experience
- Able to safely unload freight with an electric pallet jack
- Strong customer service skills
- Reliable transportation to and from the account
- Comfortable with multi-stop grocery deliveries and NYC-area driving
- Clean driving record
- DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Automatic daycabs
- 45', 48', 51' and 53' trailers
- Electric pallet jacks
- Newer equipment averaging approximately 3 years old
- Updated warehouse loading technology
- Driver room with free coffee and drink machines
- Uniforms provided
