CDL-A Local Building Materials Driver - Tacoma, Washington
Earn an average of $77,740-$86,941 per year hauling building materials throughout Washington and Oregon. Receive a $10,000 bonus, yearly mileage-pay increases, online orientation, and the opportunity to earn extra income through additional work.
Main Yard / Starting Location
Tacoma, WA - drivers operate in Washington and Oregon, with raw material pickups in Halsey, OR, approximately 2-3 times per week.

Earn an average of $77,740-$86,941 per year hauling building materials throughout Washington and Oregon. Receive a $10,000 bonus, yearly mileage-pay increases, online orientation, and the opportunity to earn extra income through additional work.

Pay Details
- Average Annual Pay: $77,740-$86,941
- Average Weekly Pay: $1,500-$1,670
- Mileage Pay: $0.49-$0.53 CPM
- Bonus: $10,000
- Yearly Raises: $0.01 CPM increases until reaching $0.53 CPM
- Outsource Work: $300-$350 per day
- Steel-Toe Boot Allowance: $75 per year
- Deliver concrete, fiber, and siding to customer sites throughout WA and OR.
- Pick up raw materials in Halsey, OR, approximately 2-3 times per week.
- Deliver to local lumber yards on the remaining workdays.
- Option to complete up to 5 Halsey pickups per week.
- Freight is live unloaded at customer sites.
- Drivers must strap all loads and tarp as needed.
- Training provided on curtain-side and flatbed trailers.
- Flatbed experience preferred.
- May assist other dedicated accounts as needed.
- Monday-Friday
- Start times: 3:00 AM-5:00 AM
- 12-14-hour shifts
- Occasional Saturday work based on customer demand
- Optional sixth day for additional income
- All six major holidays off, with optional work if available
- Online orientation available
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- Clean driving record
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Must be willing and able to chain as weather conditions require
- Must be comfortable securing loads and tarping freight as needed
- Must wear required PPE and account-provided uniforms
- Must be willing to assist other accounts when needed
- Assigned automatic day-cab trucks
- Curtain-side and flatbed trailers
- Trucks remain at the account during time off
- Account-provided uniforms and PPE, except steel-toe boots
- $75 annual steel-toe boot allowance
