CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver - Good Pay + $10K Bonus | Home Daily
Earn approximately $84,000-$95,000 per year on a local intermodal account serving customers within a 250-mile radius of Lancaster, Massachusetts. Enjoy daily home time, consistent weekday scheduling, paid detention, and additional Hazmat pay.

Pay Details
- Average Weekly Pay: $1,650-$1,850
- $10,000 Bonus
- $20/hour detention pay after 1 hour at the rail
- $40 per Hazmat load
- Local intermodal container routes within a 250-mile radius
- Operate containers in and out of the Ayer ramp, north of Worcester
- Freight originates or terminates in Worcester or Ayer, Massachusetts
- Drivers will not operate in New York City
- 24/7 operation with shared equipment
- Some rail-yard experience preferred
- Uniforms required
- No riders allowed
- Monday-Friday
- Start times between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM
- Typical workday: 10-12 hours
- Shift availability will be discussed during the welcome call
- Drivers may occasionally be asked to work another shift
- Thanksgiving: Could work
- Christmas: Off
- New Year's: Could work
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable truck driving experience
- Clean driving record
- DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Ability to work a flexible shift when needed
- Rail-yard experience preferred
- Local day cab trucks
- Slip-seat operation due to 24/7 account coverage
- Trucks remain at the yard during time off
- Yard location: 1410 Lunenburg Road, Lancaster, MA 01523
- 18 paid days off initially: 12 PTO days + 6 holidays
- After 1-5 years: 22 paid days off
- After 6-13 years: 27 paid days off
- After 14-18 years: 30 paid days off
- After 19+ years: 32 paid days off
