Local CDL-A Grocery Account - Good Pay + $10K Bonus | Home Daily
Earn an average of $95,000 per year delivering fresh and frozen grocery products on a dedicated local account. Enjoy consistent routes, daily home time, and a $10,000 bonus.

Pay Details
- Average Weekly Pay: Approximately $1,850
- Hiring Bonus: $10,000
- Occasional layovers with hotel accommodations provided
- Deliver fresh and frozen groceries to supermarkets and distribution centers.
- Haul freight throughout the New York City boroughs, Long Island, New Jersey, and Boston.
- Complete approximately 31 stops per week.
- Typically run one long load per day, with an additional shorter load when hours permit.
- Pick up occasional returns and backhauls to the distribution center.
- Unload 1-3 pallets per stop using a manual pallet jack and liftgate.
- Piece-by-piece hand unloading may also be required.
- Most New York City deliveries are curbside, while New Jersey deliveries are typically made at docks.
- Support other local accounts as needed.
- Occasional layovers may occur; hotel accommodations are provided.
- Start times between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM
- Split days off, including Sunday and one weekday
- Days off will not be Monday or Saturday
- Typically 12-14-hour shifts
- Home daily
- Thanksgiving and Christmas off
- New Year's Day off is not guaranteed
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- Preferred: At least 3 months of experience delivering throughout all New York City boroughs
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Clean driving record
- No SAP drivers
- Reliable personal transportation to and from work
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to perform driver unloading and occasional hand unloading
- Willingness to operate slip-seat equipment
- Automatic and manual day cabs
- Reefer trailers: 46', 48', 51', and 53'
- Slip-seat operation; same-truck assignments are preferred but not guaranteed
- Trucks cannot be taken home
- Uniforms provided
- Hotel accommodations for occasional layovers
