CDL-A Semi-Local Driver - Good Pay | Home Weekly
Earn $86,000-$110,000 per year on a dedicated semi-local route with daytime driving, weekends off, and home 1-2 nights per week plus your weekly reset. Enjoy mostly drop-and-hook, no-touch freight and opportunities to earn more.

$86,000-$110,000 Average Annual Pay
Average Weekly Pay: $1,700-$2,150
- $100 weekly attendance bonus when working 5 days
- $6 every 15 minutes at pickup/delivery stops
- Outsource work: $225-$350/day
- $0.01 CPM yearly increases up to $0.64 CPM
- 2,200 miles/week
- Holiday pay effective immediately
- Multi-stop deliveries to stores across the Midwest and Chicagoland
- No-touch freight
- Approximately 85% drop & hook
- Loading: 60% drop & hook / 40% live load
- Unloading: 75% drop & hook / 25% live unload
- Live loading/unloading averages about 1 hour
- Pick up backhauls for Chicagoland deliveries
- Optional 6th day for additional income
- Thanksgiving and Christmas off
- New Year's Day worked
- Monday-Friday
- Select a consistent start time between 3 AM-6 AM
- 12-hour shifts
- Home 1-2 nights per week for 10-hour breaks
- Weekly reset
- Weekends off
- Sleeper layovers required when needed
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 6 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- Clean driving record
- DOT Medical Card
- No SAP Drivers
- Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days
- Hazmat course and endorsement costs reimbursed
- Only 5%-10% of loads are Hazmat
- Freightliner or International
- Automatic trucks only
- Assigned trucks - no slip seating
- Trucks remain at the account during time off
- No passengers permitted
