CDL-A Local Grocery Driver - Good Pay + $5K Bonus | Home Daily
Earn approximately $92,000 per year delivering palletized groceries throughout Washington and Oregon. This dedicated account offers daily home time, consistent overnight scheduling, strong stop pay, and paid doubles-endorsement reimbursement.

Earn approximately $92,000 per year delivering palletized groceries throughout Washington and Oregon. This dedicated account offers daily home time, consistent overnight scheduling, strong stop pay, and paid doubles-endorsement reimbursement.
Pay Details
- Average Weekly Pay: $1,769
- $5,000 Bonus
- $30 per no-touch stop - average of 5 stops per week
- $45 per driver-assist stop - average of 18 stops per week
- Yearly $0.01 CPM increases until reaching a maximum of $0.58 CPM
- New-hire training averages approximately 2 weeks
- Haul palletized groceries in dry van, reefer, and pup trailers
- Deliver from distribution centers in the Sumner/Tacoma area to customers throughout Washington and Oregon
- Pup trailers range from 27 to 34 feet
- Approximately 40% of loads are doubles
- About 90% of stops require driver assistance; 10% are customer live unloads
- Driver-assist stops may involve using an electric pallet jack to tailgate freight or using a forklift for unloading
- Assist other dedicated accounts as needed
- Sunday-Thursday
- Start times between 9:00 PM and midnight
- Average workday: approximately 11 hours
- Optional sixth day available
- Drivers are home daily
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable truck driving experience
- Clean driving record
- DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Obtain a doubles endorsement within 60-90 days of hire
- Doubles-endorsement cost will be reimbursed
- Willingness and ability to chain as weather requires
- Ability to assist other dedicated accounts
- Automatic International day cabs
- Dry van, reefer, and pup trailers
- Slip-seat operation required
- Trucks must remain at the account during time off
