CDL-A Local Shuttle Driver - Good Pay + Bonus | Home Daily
Earn $70,000 average annual gross pay on a dedicated shuttle route hauling frozen groceries between distribution and relay yards. Enjoy daily home time, no-touch drop-and-hook freight, and a $5,000 bonus.

Earn $70,000 average annual gross pay on a dedicated shuttle route hauling frozen groceries between distribution and relay yards. Enjoy daily home time, no-touch drop-and-hook freight, and a $5,000 bonus.

$70,000 Average Annual Gross Pay
- Average Weekly Pay: $1,400
- $5,000 bonus
- Shuttle frozen groceries in reefer trailers
- Shuttle between Westfield, MA and relay yards in Milford or West Haven, CT
- No-touch, drop-and-hook shuttle freight
- 5-10 shuttles per day, with a minimum of 3 required
- May include store transfers, trailer moves, and local backhauls
- No NYC deliveries
- Store deliveries may involve 2-3 stops and electric pallet jack unloading
- May assist other nearby accounts as needed
- Sunday-Thursday
- Start time: approximately 3 PM-4 PM
- Approximately 500 miles/week
- Home Daily
- 6th day required during mandatory holiday periods, potentially for 3 consecutive weeks
- Drivers work scheduled holidays unless the account is closed
- Thanksgiving and Christmas off; New Year's Day not guaranteed
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable CDL-A experience
- Clean driving record
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Reliable personal transportation to and from work daily
- Ability to perform pre-trip inspections and inspect tractor/trailer tires
- Strong safety and customer service skills
- Automatic reefer equipment
- Slip-seat operation required
- Trucks cannot be taken home
- Uniforms provided and maintained by the account
