Earn an average of $100,000-$110,000 per year delivering fresh and frozen groceries throughout the Northeast. Pay Details
Earn an average of $100,000-$110,000 per year delivering fresh and frozen groceries throughout the Northeast. Pay Details
- Average Annual Pay: $100,000-$110,000
- Average Weekly Pay: $1,923-$2,115
- Mileage Pay: $0.52-$0.56 CPM
- Bonus: $10,000
- Daily Pay: $50 per day when all five scheduled workdays are completed
- NYC Borough Stop Pay: $42 per stop in Queens, Bronx, Manhattan, Staten Island, and Brooklyn
- Liftgate Stop Pay: $45 per stop
- Detention Pay: Paid in 15-minute increments when the driver arrives within the scheduled delivery window
- Classroom Safety Training: $20 per hour
- Deliver fresh and frozen groceries to supermarkets and distribution centers.
- Service territory includes NY, NJ, MA, VT, RI, NH, ME, PA, and parts of upstate NY.
- Approximately 80-90% of deliveries are in NYC boroughs and Long Island.
- Drivers should expect to deliver in NYC boroughs daily.
- Multi-stop routes averaging approximately 15-20 stops per week.
- Usually one long load per day, with an occasional second, shorter load when hours permit.
- May pick up returned products or backhauls for delivery to the distribution center.
- Drivers receive electric pallet-jack training to assist with store unloading.
- May assist other local accounts as needed.
- Uniforms provided.
- Customer service skills are important.
- Local driving with home time every day

- Consistent scheduled workdays
- Drivers work scheduled holidays unless the account is not operating.
- Holiday schedule: Off during the day on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day, but work the holiday night.
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- Clean driving record
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Must be comfortable with multi-stop grocery deliveries and assisting with unloading using an electric pallet jack.
- Must provide personal transportation to and from the account.
- Automatic day-cab trucks
- Refrigerated trailers: 46, 48, 51, or 53 feet
- Trucks cannot be taken home during time off.
- Uniforms provided
- Electric pallet jacks provided
- Updated equipment, with trucks averaging three years old or newer
