CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver - Good Pay + $10K Bonus
Earn $78,000-$100,000 per year hauling no-touch intermodal freight between rail yards and customer locations within a 250-mile radius of Mechanicville, New York. This local position offers daily home time, paid holidays, and a $10,000 bonus.

Pay Details
- Average Weekly Pay: Approximately $1,500-$1,923
- Bonus: $10,000
- Drop-and-hook pay: $40 per move
- Live load/unload pay: $65
- Hazmat load pay: $20 per load
- Deliver containers between rail yards and customer locations within a 250-mile radius.
- No New York City routes.
- No-touch freight
- Approximately 1,800 miles per week
- Drivers report daily to the ramp at 101 Route 67, Mechanicville, NY 12118.
- Slip-seat operation required.
- Trucks remain at the ramp during time off.
- Choose from either:
- Tuesday-Saturday
- Sunday-Thursday
- Start times are either 12:01 AM or 3:00 AM.
- Drivers must be willing to work either schedule and start time.
- Approximately 12-hour shifts
- Home daily
- Thanksgiving and New Year's Day may require work.
- Christmas is off.
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- DOT Medical Card
- Clean driving record
- No SAP drivers
- Ability to work either available shift
- Willingness to operate in a slip-seat environment
- Ability to comply with uniform requirements
- Intermodal container equipment
- Trucks remain at the ramp
- Slip-seat operation
- Five uniform shirts provided upon hire
- Quarterly uniform replacement allotment
- 18 paid days off initially: 12 PTO days + 6 holidays
- After 1-5 years: 22 paid days off
- 6-13 years: 27 paid days off
- 14-18 years: 30 paid days off
- 19+ years: 32 paid days off
