Class A Truck Driver - San-Mar Construction Co.

Job Overview:

Your day starts around 4 A.M. at our Adelanto Yard with deliveries throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. You’ll also pick up materials from job sites and return them to the yard. Most days finish by 12 noon, but some involve overtime.

At the start of your shift, the trailer is pre-loaded and secured for delivery. While site employees handle the loading/unloading, drivers are responsible for securing any loads picked up from job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate flatbed trucks with loads up to 80,000 lbs.
• Ensure trailers are properly hitched and loads are secure.
• Communicate with dispatch and follow delivery schedules.
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and follow all safety protocols.

Track hours, maintain logs, and adhere to DOT/ICC regulations

What You Bring to the Team:

• Valid Class A license with at least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience.
• Clean driving record and ability to maneuver large vehicles confidently.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Proficiency with GPS and routing systems.
• Disciplined, dependable, and safety-oriented.
