This position is ideal for a safety-focused driver who can also assist with light-duty mechanical repairs to help reduce downtime and support fleet readiness.

About the Role
Seattle Choice Transport is looking for a reliable and experienced Class A CDL driver with basic mechanic skills to join our Indianapolis team. This position is ideal for a safety-focused driver who can also assist with light-duty mechanical repairs to help reduce downtime and support fleet readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles on local and regional routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and report mechanical issues.
- Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance tasks such as:
- Replacing bulbs, fuses, and windshield wipers
- Adjusting airlines and electrical lines
- Topping off fluids (oil, coolant, DEF, etc.)
- Greasing fifth wheels and tightening loose components
- Coordinate with dispatch and the maintenance team to address truck issues promptly.
- Support on-road performance by helping avoid unnecessary breakdowns.

Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean MVR
- Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist with minor repairs
- Must pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Reliable, self-motivated, and safety-minded
