Pay Details
- Average Annual Pay: $80,000
- Guaranteed Minimum: 40 hours per week
- Average Workweek: Approximately 48 hours
- Straight-Time Pay: $28 per hour
- Overtime Pay: $42 per hour
- Dedicated local furniture delivery account
- Starting area: Taunton, MA
- Deliver furniture to stores and warehouses
- Approximately 450 miles driven on average
- No-touch freight
- Drop and remove demountable trailers at remote terminals
- 3-4 weeks of demountable trailer training
- Drivers must raise the trailer legs as part of the job
- Home daily
- Monday-Friday schedule
- Start time: 5:00 PM
- Shifts typically last 9-10 hours
- Occasional weekend work may be required
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 6 months of verifiable truck-driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Ability to complete demountable trailer training
- Ability to safely raise and lower trailer landing legs
