CDL-A Local Driver | Kroger - Roanoke, VA
Earn an average of $1,450 per week with a $2,500 sign-on bonus on a dedicated local grocery account in the Roanoke, Virginia area. Enjoy daily home time while hauling freight throughout Virginia and West Virginia, with additional pay for stops and trailer unloads.
Important: Drivers must have reliable personal transportation to and from the distribution center daily. Applicants outside the hiring area require approval.

Experience-Based Mileage Pay: 0-12 months: $0.53 CPM; 12-36 months: $0.55 CPM; 37-60 months: $0.56 CPM; 61+ months: $0.58 CPM.
Job Details
Sign-On Bonus Payout: $500 on the first load, $500 at 30 days, $250 at 60 days, $250 at 90 days, $250 at 120 days, $250 at 150 days, and $500 at 180 days. Drivers must be active company drivers at each payout milestone.

- Average Weekly Pay: $1,450
- Top Performer Annual Earning Potential: $75,000+
- Mileage Pay: $0.53-$0.58 CPM, based on experience
- Unload Pay: $55 per full trailer
- Stop Pay: $20 per stop, including the first
- Sign-On Bonus: $2,500, paid in stages through day 180
- Home daily
- Primarily overnight schedules
- Must work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Holiday weeks, including the preceding week, are mandatory

Job Details
- Dedicated grocery freight
- Deliveries throughout Virginia and West Virginia
- Backhaul loads from West Virginia returning to Indianapolis
- Approximately 4 loads and 2,000 miles per week
- Average length of haul: approximately 490 miles
- Unload freight using a powered pallet jack; training provided
- Slip-seat tractors
- On-site support available 24/7
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- Clean driving record
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the distribution center
- Ability to unload freight using a powered pallet jack
- Availability for night, weekend, holiday, and required holiday-week schedules
- 24/7 on-site support
- Paid vacation based on length of service:
- 1 week after 1 year
- 2 weeks after 3 years
- 3 weeks after 7 years
- 4 weeks after 15 years
