CDL-A Local Shuttle Driver - Fall River, MA
Earn an average of $70,000 per year on a dedicated frozen-grocery shuttle account. Enjoy home daily, no-touch drop-and-hook freight, and a $5,000 bonus. Drivers shuttle refrigerated trailers between Massachusetts and Connecticut facilities, with occasional local deliveries or trailer moves as needed.
Main Yard / Starting Location
Fall River, MA - drivers start and end each shift at the yard at 485 Commerce Drive. The operation supports a distribution facility in Westfield, MA, with shuttle runs to relay yards in Milford and West Haven, CT.

Pay Details
- Average Annual Pay: $70,000
- Average Weekly Pay: $1,350
- Mileage Pay: $0.50-$0.54 per mile
- $5,000 Bonus
- Dedicated frozen-grocery shuttle operation
- Reefer trailers with no-touch, drop-and-hook freight
- Shuttle frozen grocery loads between Westfield, MA, and relay yards in Milford or West Haven, CT
- Minimum 3 shuttles per day, with approximately 5-10 possible depending on the destination
- May assist with store transfers, trailer moves, local backhauls, supermarket deliveries, or other account needs
- Store deliveries may involve 2-3 stops per trailer, electric pallet-jack unloading, and return-product or backhaul pickups
- No deliveries in New York City
- Automatic trucks; drivers should expect to slip-seat
- Trucks cannot be taken home
- Home daily
- Available schedules: Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Thursday
- Drivers must be willing to work either schedule
- Start times between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM
- Sixth-day work may be required for three consecutive weeks around holiday periods
- Holiday work is required when scheduled unless the account is closed
- Thanksgiving and Christmas are listed as days off; New Year's Day off is not guaranteed
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable truck-driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Reliable transportation to and from the Fall River yard
- Must be able to perform pre-trip inspections and inspect tractor and trailer tires
- Must operate safely and legally and demonstrate good customer-service skills
- Must be flexible to assist with store deliveries and other account work when needed
