- Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer on OTR routes along the East Coast
- Deliver tires and related products to Southern Tire Mart locations and customers
- Load and unload freight by hand using a liftgate
- Lift and handle materials weighing up to 100 lbs
- Follow all DOT regulations and ELD requirements
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and route updates
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience
- Clean driving record (subject to insurance approval)
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
- Willingness to travel over the road and sleep in the truck's sleeper cab
- Ability to comply with DOT regulations and ELOG requirements
- Must pass DOT physical, background check, and drug screen
- Work Environment
- Over-the-road travel throughout the East Coast
- Overnight travel required
- Physical loading and unloading of tires and related products
- Exposure to outdoor conditions during deliveries
