Job Summary:
Delivers items by preparing, loading, unloading, operating, and cleaning a truck; developing and assisting sales; maintaining records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare truck for operation by inspecting general condition; checking fluid levels and tire pressure; obtaining or scheduling required repairs; and validating adherence to road-ability standards.
- Load truck by ordering, placing, and securing items.
- Deliver items by identifying destinations; establishing route; operating the truck; unloading items; and maintaining schedule.
- Obtain payment by accepting cash or checks.
- Maintain safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organizational operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations; clean truck exterior and interior.
- Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Complete deliveries in the 5-county area of Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley, Lancaster County, and an occasional trip to Pittsburgh, PA.
- Hours can range Monday-Friday with occasional OT. Saturday work possible.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift and transport up to 50 pounds of inventory required.
- 2+ years of driver experience preferred.
- Valid CDL - Class A
Compensation
- Up to $32/hour
- Overtime eligible

- Employee will cover 50% of the health and vision benefits monthly premium.
