Heavy Haul Driver Overview

• Weekly pay you can count on. Earn a weekly salary starting at $1,500, plus a $250 safety and service bonus, with pay based on experience.*
• Home time that pays. Stay out a minimum of 3 weeks at a time and earn 34 hours of paid home time for every week on the road, with home time scheduled around your home location.
• Lanes across the lower 48. Run lower 48 lanes with a heavy focus on the Northeast, Southeast, and East Texas.
• Modern trucks built for the road. Drive 2024 and newer Western Star and Freightliner models, all automatics with forward collision mitigation and outward- and rear-facing cameras, paired with 2019 and newer trailers.
• Specialized freight that pays for skill. Haul oversize and overweight loads on RGN trailers with a mix of mechanical and hydraulic detach. This touch-freight position includes hands-on load securement and self-loading and unloading at ports, with permitted routing and pilot car coordination on the loads that need it. No TWIC card yet? Sun-Belt will help you obtain one during orientation.

Driver Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL from your state of residence
• 2+ years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
• 6+ months heavy haul experience
• TWIC card preferred
• Doubles/Triples endorsement preferred
