We are looking for highly motivated, hard working individual to become a member of our team. We currently have an opportunity available for a Deliver Driver in our Altoona Surplus City store.
Job Summary:
The Delivery Driver will move parts, goods, and other merchandise from Altoona store location to another.
Schedule/Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - Start time approximately 3:30 - 5:30 am.
Home each day.

The Delivery Driver will move parts, goods, and other merchandise from Altoona store location to another.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Delivers set route weekly between 5 locations.
- Loads delivery vehicle with parcels scheduled for delivery.
- Unload truck after returning from pickups and deliveries.
- Pickups from vendors occasionally occur throughout the month.
- Maintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made. Do daily pre-trip and post-trip reports.
- Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical/maintenance issues to supervisor.
- Assists in general warehouse duties when delivery route is completed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to drive safely.
- Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps.
- Ability to plan delivery routes.
- Ability to maintain basic logs and records.
- Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision.
- Able to remain professional and courteous at all times.
Education and Experience:
- Valid Class B CDL and clean driving record required.
- Hourly Wage will depend on experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Must be able to load and unload packages with and without dollies in various types of weather.
