Location: 2404 Commerce St, Chattanooga, TN 37408

Shift: Sunday - Thursday | 7:00 PM - 4:00 AM

Starting Pay: $19 per hour, depending on experience

Job Summary:

SCA is seeking a reliable and hardworking Non-CDL Driver to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for operating parking lot sweeper vehicles and supporting daily service operations by maintaining the cleanliness of commercial properties. This is an active, hands-on position that combines driving with physical outdoor labor. The ideal candidate enjoys working independently, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in completing a job well done. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a parking lot sweeper truck along a designated route with minimal supervision
• Complete all assigned jobs independently and within scheduled timeframes
• Use handheld blowers to clear sidewalks and corners, replace trash bags, and maintain overall site cleanliness
• Walk properties as needed (3-4 miles per shift) to perform thorough inspections and litter removal
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and ensure safe equipment operation
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Communicate any route concerns, mechanical issues, or job-related updates to the supervisor
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance for vehicles and work areas
• Review assigned routes and proactively ask questions when unclear

Job Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
• Ability to follow directions, use GPS, and operate a tablet for route management
• Must wear appropriate work attire: long pants, short or long-sleeve shirts, and above-the-ankle work boots
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Exposure to noise, vibration, dust, grease, and chemicals
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, kneel, push, pull, stoop, and stand or walk for long periods
• Strong visual awareness (depth perception, near and far vision) and ability to safely monitor vehicle mirrors
• Frequent use of hands, arms, neck, and shoulders while operating equipment
