Join our team as a Street Sweeper (CDL)!
We're looking for a safety-focused and dependable Street Sweeper Operator to help keep the streets and public areas of Corpus Christi clean and debris-free. You'll be responsible for safely operating sweeping equipment, following assigned routes, and completing daily inspections and reports.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced driver who takes pride in their work and wants to make a visible impact in their community.
Responsibilities
- Operate street sweeping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on all vehicles and equipment.
- Follow designated routes and schedules, maintaining quality and attention to detail.
- Handle materials safely and complete all required documentation accurately.
- Communicate professionally with team members and supervisors.
- Report any equipment issues, near misses, or incidents promptly.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class B license and DOT medical card required.
- Minimum 1 year of related driving or equipment operation experience.
- Strong attention to safety, traffic laws, and environmental standards.
- Ability to work independently and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable and punctual with consistent attendance.
