Class A CDL Driver - Local Delivery

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Class A CDL Driver to join our team for local deliveries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating an 18-wheeler with a refrigerated trailer, handling refrigerated goods, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate an 18-wheeler with a refrigerated trailer for local deliveries
• Manage and maintain refrigerated cargo, ensuring proper handling and temperature control
• At times, may be required to load and unload your own truck, including handling freight in the warehouse when necessary.
• Use forklift equipment to assist with loading and unloading
• Perform basic mechanical checks and routine maintenance on the vehicle.
• Perform warehouse tasks when deliveries are not scheduled.
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure safe transportation.

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Experience operating an 18-wheeler/tractor-trailer with a refrigerated trailer.
• Current DOT medical certification, as applicable.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge of local routes and delivery areas.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of trucks and trailers.
• Ability to safely load, unload, and secure cargo independently.
• Ability to safely handle refrigerated goods and maintain proper temperature control.
• Ability to comply with DOT, FMCSA, and company safety requirements.
• Ability to operate forklift equipment safely, or willingness to obtain required training
• Strong commitment to safety and excellent customer service skills
• Bilingual in English & Spanish preferred
