Zing Recruiting is seeking a dependable Class A CDL Warehouse Receiver to join a growing food manufacturing team in Budd Lake, NJ. This hands-on role is primarily responsible for receiving and processing inbound shipments while also supporting warehouse operations and making local Class A CDL deliveries and transfers between facilities.
What You'll Do
- Receive and unload inbound FTL and LTL shipments.
- Inspect incoming products for damage and verify quantities.
- Review driver paperwork and confirm lot numbers.
- Receive inventory into the Acctivate system using the correct purchase orders.
- Scan and maintain receiving documentation.
- Communicate with the Warehouse Manager regarding incoming shipments.
- Assist with outbound shipments, warehouse transfers, inventory organization, and general warehouse operations.
- Transport raw materials and finished goods between facilities and distribution centers.
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
- Maintain DOT logs, fuel/toll receipts, and delivery documentation.
- Safely maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions.
- Collect and verify delivery instructions.
- Report equipment defects, accidents, or safety concerns.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Valid Class A CDL required.
- 2+ years of Class A CDL driving experience.
- 2+ years of forklift operating experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience operating forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and scissor lifts.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
- Clean driving record with no recent moving violations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for the majority of the shift.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse and production environment.
- Willingness to work overtime, extended shifts, and occasional weekends.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
- $24-$28/hr
