ABOUT THE JOB
The Tepa Companies are seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver for the safe and efficient transport of liquid or bulk materials (e.g., oil, fuel, chemicals, water) to various construction project sites using a designated truck. As a CDL-A Truck Driver, you must ensure compliance with traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures during loading, transport, and unloading operations.
Job Functions:
- Operate a tanker truck to haul material between off-site fill stations and the project location.
- Safely fill the tanker ensuring proper volume, secure connections, and spill prevention.
- Transport to the site following assigned routes and project schedules.
- Offload into on-site tanks or designated areas using proper procedures and controls.
- Complete daily pre-trip, post-trip, and in-route inspections; document findings accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness, functionality, and safety of the truck and all associated equipment.
- Comply with all DOT regulations, site safety rules, environmental guidelines, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors, equipment operators, and logistics teams.
- Assist with general site tasks when hauling duties are not required (as needed).
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Valid Class A CDL
- 5+ years' experience operating tanker trucks or heavy commercial vehicles.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to pass required background check and drug screen.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including climbing, lifting hoses, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
