Transportation Experience Preferred, CDL Class B Driver's License Required
Position Summary: Drives a van or bus to transport residents by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
• Drives vehicle from community area to destination according to an assigned schedule.
• Assists disabled passengers into and out of vehicle.
• Secures passengers' wheelchairs with restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during a trip.
• Operates radio or similar device to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
• Cleans and services vehicles with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Schedules appointments for residents to be transported.
• Meets all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Educational Requirements and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current commercial driver's license (CDL) Class B is required.
• Must provide a current DMV print out containing the driving history of the past (10) years.
• Experience in a customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
