About the Position

TransForce is seeking an experienced CDL A Truck Driver for a local, on-site driving opportunity in Laurel, Maryland. This position involves light-touch freight handling and an automatic-transmission vehicle.

Pay & Schedule

• $24.80 - $26 per hour with OT after 40 hours
• Monday - Friday, dispatch between 3 AM and 6 AM 

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL A truck safely on local routes. 
• Complete assigned deliveries and pickups of paper and janitorial products according to schedule.
• Handle freight using light-touch procedures, using a pallet jack to unload. 
• Perform vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all applicable DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• CDL Class A license.
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Ability to operate an automatic-transmission truck and perform light-touch freight handling.
