Weekend CDL A Switcher Driver $25/hr  - Newton, NC 

TransForce is seeking a dependable CDL A Driver to support local operations based in Newton, NC. 

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Switcher Driver Details 

• Schedule: Sat or /and Sun 
  either 7am - 2pm or 3pm - 9pm 

• Pay:  $25/hr 

• Route Type: Switching out trailers

• Handling: No Touch

CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A 
  
  Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Equipment Experience: tractor trailer and freight delivery experience

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

• Safely operate 52' tractor trailer on local routes -

• Transport food in accordance with DOT and company safety standards to warehouses 

• Perform required handling tasks

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including the ability to safely lift 50 lbs
