About the Position

TransForce is seeking a Class A CDL Shuttle Driver for a local, second-shift shuttle position. This role offers daily home time with no layovers and involves timely deliveries between Villa Rica and Tallapoosa, Georgia.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay rate: $27 per hour
• Average weekly earnings: $1,000–$1,080
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Shift: 4:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
• Employment type: Short-term flex
• Daily home time; no layovers required

Job Details

• Route type: Local shuttle route
• Route: Villa Rica, Georgia, to Tallapoosa, Georgia
• Stops: Approximately 4–8 stops per night
• Freight: No-touch freight
• Equipment: 48–58-foot day cab truck
• Handling: Lift gate operations may be required

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer on a local shuttle route
• Make scheduled deliveries between Villa Rica and Tallapoosa
• Complete approximately 4–8 stops per night
• Operate a 48–58-foot day cab truck
• Follow all applicable safety and transportation regulations

Minimum Requirements

• Class A CDL
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Recent route delivery experience, including lift gate operations
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Stable work history
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
