CDL A Intermodal Driver - $38 Per Hour (Avg $2508 per week) - 3rd Shift Overnight

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Joliet, IL. At least 1 year of recent CDL driving, including intermodal container experience, is required. Earn more with a Hazmat endorsement. 

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

CDL A Details 

• Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday
• 3rd shift overnight: 5 PM - 4 AM 
• $38 Per Hour (+$1/HR with Hazmat)
• Local routes, Intermodal
• No-touch freight, drop & Hook

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• Valid CDL A and DOT med card
• 1+ years of recent CDL A INTERMODAL experience REQUIRED 
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no recent major violations or preventable DOT-reportable accidents) 
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Pick up and deliver intermodal containers at rail yards.
• Ensure safe, timely, and incident-free transportation.
• Provide professional, customer-focused service at all times.
• Maintain strong communication and positive relationships with customers.
